When the feeling of “Deja vu” hits you, the best thing is to document it somewhere.
I may have done this a million times but keep forgetting how to install the vmware tools on Centos.
Here are the Intructions:
yum install kernel-devel
then run
./vmware-install.pl
Hopefully that will help someone out there
