Scenario : You were given a second hand printer and you realize that it has a static IP address saved in memory but there are no embedded screen on the printer that would at least give you a way to change the settings.
Goal : You would like to change the static IP or remote the static IP (to use DHCP) so you can start using your printer.
Solution:
Reset the printer to Factory Default (while the ethernet cable is attached).
The manufacturer of your printer should have that information in your printer’s manual.
