I inherited a foxpro database from a couple of legacy applications and while i was working on them, i thought that it could be useful that i create a quick list of the most useful websites on the subject.

After removing the "#" to enable a flag chances are, a couple spaces remains at the beginning of a line.

Remove any extra space before and After any line.

XCOPY Useful Commands (Exclude temp and Other Folders)

1. Create a File name :c:\ExcludeTheseFolders.txt

2. Edit the File "ExcludeTheseFolders" and insert the directories that you want to exclude (Follow the format Below):

\temp\
\donocopy

3. Create Batch File: BackupFile.bat

4. xcopy "C:\Source\*.*" " C:\Destination\" /s /d /EXCLUDE:c:\ExcludeTheseFolders.txt

Look ! I like linux but what the HECK is this Command.

"CTRL + ] "

My telnet session was locked (ctrl+D , exit, quit ,ctrl+c) did not work and when i googled it i found out that the only way i could get out of the session was by using the command above.

This is the weirdest command i have ever seen for something that simple.
