Split() Function is Replaced by What?

If you go to PHP.net looking for information about the split() function you are likely to see the following (at the time of writing):

I have to go to the bottom of the page to locate a section called “Tip” to give me an idea about what to use.

Why not saying: "This function has been deprecated and has been replaced by ..." and leave all the verbiage for the rest of the page.

To make a long story short

it has been replaced by the preg_split(), str_split() or the explode() function.

As a side note, I am running php version 5.3.3 and it is running fine there.

I thought that it was supposed to be deprecated as of 5.3.0. I am just saying …

“Adobe Photoshop cs3, cs4 has stopped working”.

If you are getting this error message, chances are that your preferences profile is corrupted. Here are steps to fix it:

1. Please press the following keys in the right order

 
crtl + alt + shift and then click on the Photoshop icon

2. The following pop pup will show up

Just click on “delete” and that should fix it.

Google’s “Similar” link is not completely removed from Google search results, it is just hidden and here is how to find it.

Mouse over the search result and click on the double arrow and the “Similar” link is right there.

First get the name of your database logs

use ycsoftware
select * from sys.database_files

Next just run the following to truncate the logs

use ycsoftware
go
dbcc shrinkfile (ycsoftware_Log,1)
backup log ycsoftware with truncate_only
dbcc shrinkfile (ycsoftware_Log,1)
go
