Step to restore the Show Desktop Icon
1. Open notepad
2. copy the following to the file:
[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
3. Name the file Let's say "MyDesktop.scf"
4. Save it to your "c:/windows/system32/"
5. navigate to you "c:/windows/system32/" and drag an drop it to your toolbar
